White House High School freshman Alex Hampton competed in England in the International TaeKwonDo World Championships. The 14 yr old, 108 lbs, was the smallest and youngest member of the United States TaeKwonDo Team.

Alex finished with a Gold Medal in Team Sparring. In the individual competition she was just edged out of medal round and finished the season with a current world rank of 5th – Teen-Female.

She has been featured in multiple martial arts magazines for her young rise into the sport. The competition (occurs every 2 years) was July 21-22 in England. There were over 3,000 competitors from around the world registered. Alex was ranked the #3 (u15 light-heavyweight female) in the world.
