The White House High School boys bowling team won its quarterfinal match in the Region Tournament on Wednesday, and will bowl again on Thursday for a chance to go to the region finals and earn a substate berth. The top two teams of the remaining four will advance.
White House defeated Stone Memorial, 15.5-11.5 on Wednesday and will bowl Thursday morning in Cookeville in the semifinals. White House must win its first match Thursday to stay alive.
The girls placed first in regionals, beating out Upperman 19-8 then Creekwood 19-8. They host sectionals Saturday at Strike & Spare in Hendersonville at 9 am.
